Do I need to enter a credit card to start the trial?+
Yes — Stripe requires a payment method to start the 14-day trial, but you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before day 14 and you pay £0.
Which currencies are supported?+
Stripe Checkout auto-detects your country and shows the price in your local currency (GBP, USD, EUR, BRL and many more). Your card issuer handles any conversion at the interbank rate.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from the in-app billing portal in two clicks. Your workspace stays active until the end of the current billing period, then archives.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
We keep your workspace data archived for 30 days so you can reactivate without losing anything. After 30 days it is permanently deleted in line with UK GDPR.
Is VAT included?+
Prices shown to UK customers include VAT. EU and international customers see net prices; any applicable tax is added at checkout via Stripe Tax.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from the billing portal. Stripe prorates the difference automatically.
Do you offer multi-site discounts?+
Yes. If you run more than one workshop, contact support@geardesk.pro and we will tailor a bundle.
Is there a setup fee?+
No. Setup, onboarding, DVLA/MOT/HPI API access, payment processing fees on top of Stripe’s standard rate, and software updates are all included.
